T-shirt Collaboration

I was thinking of making a throw (blanket) out of my old PJ t-shirts. Just wondering if anyone else has done anything like this before or if you have a better idea for use of t-shirts that you don't wear anymore. I know a friend of mine has turned theirs into pillowcases. I have about 15 or so shirts to mess around with. Any ideas??

    I've made patch work quilts before..but I was thinking of getting the computer printer paper that you can print iron-on's on...and scanning all the album covers and fav. lyric block images; making top side squares like that, framed in red and brown velvets.

    Just have to make sure everything is prewashed and preshrunk.

    If you have images on disc. a good quilting store might tranfer them to quilt block fabric for you too. I have a place like that near me.

    I made throw pillows. Took 2 really cheap little pillows and sewed the Ts around them. :)

    those are pretty cool....hmmm...maybe I need some pillows to match the blanket. So far things are looking pretty good. I'll post a pic once things get finished (might be a damn long time from now!!!)

    When my wife's father passed away she had his favorite bathrobe made into a teddy bear. That's different.
