I did a series of musician portraits in December this was one of them, I only have two on the computer...it's chalk pastel.

    That link worked.

    You've caught her likeness. I'd know it was her.

    As for suggestions, I would advise tweaking one or two aspects of detail, such as the drawing of the microphone (and its shadow), and Janis's neck. The form of the neck in particular needs more definition; it looks a little amorphous to me.
    If you drew this from a photo, you could refer to the photo to see how you could improve the pastel drawing's characterisation of the neck in tone and line. For example, does the photo capture any tonal variations or highlights that suggest muscle shape, which you could add to your piece? Are there obvious definitions of line you need to reproduce?
