And it was Pearl Jam!! I had a photo pass and was so nervous, thought I was going to pee myself right there in the pit. But it worked out ok, and I got to leave with dry pants. A photo pass gets you 3 songs, and as most of you know, the 1st Pearl Jam show is always in the dark, so I had 2 songs really. I had to take a lot of crowd shots for my senior project/thesis, but couldn't resist getting a few of the guys
I want to do this for the rest of my life!!!

they are in the Pearl Jam photo album, enjoy! Give me feedback if you can! I'm spending this school year making myself marketable so I can get a job when I graduate...so any comments are a great help!

Respect! Great stuff, really
I had a few thoughts, but only then I read you only had 2 songs and it was pretty dark (because of thatand the contrast, the b&w comes of as pretty heavy, color might have been a good option, I don't know, maybe I'm just splitting hairs here). Circumstances weren't ideal I guess.
I like your pics of the fans outside and the car.
And in the other series, I absolutely love the man looking up to heaven
ps: I know a couple of folks here (Belgium, ghent) that have a website where they post all of their concertphotography of local bands in bars and stuff. check it out for idea, maybe.

Conclusion: you definitly got some talent and skills going there. Keep it up!0 -

I wrote to a ton of people and got nowhere, so I finally wrote to the ten club. They graciously forwarded my message to the people I needed. Once I had them, I explained that I was a college student working on my senior project and what kind of photos I was looking to get (mostly crowd). They let me do it since they said they generally don't get many special cases like that. The day of the show, the office who handles the band's press called me to make sure everything was alright and when I got in, the woman who escorted me in knew my name, my project, everything. They were truely amazing to me the whole time! I ended up being 1 of only 2 photographers there that night. The other guy was with a small, snooty suburban paper that I would never have guessed would send a guy to a concert like Pearl Jam.
I still wish I would have been able to get more band shots, but I have a major grade depending on this project, haha...rock bands may come and rock bands may go...
