I finally found some time to sort my photos and the guts to put up the ones I like best. so here are some of my favorites photos. These are all taken in Croatia.

    it´s very beautiful Sid, great colours, or rather "good lack of colors" ....can feel the "crispyness" in the air :)

    Yeah, lack of colors more than colors. i dont have a pro camera.
    But it can go underwater ;)

    lol...right ...no edit button, so.... double posting, as only the first one was up when I replied ;)

    the second one ....I wanne strall down that path, lovely athmosphere in that pic !!

    the bird pic is also good I think....would´ve maybe cropped it a bit to get "closer" to the bird, as to see the reflection on the water more clearly :)

    I meant "lack of colours" in a good way....the bluish makes it really fresh and enhances the wintery coolness in it :) ...the lack of colours makes the pic so to speak.... the border pic.

    When you come over, I'll take you to that path, Lungomare, along the coast :)

    Yeah, I guess I could do stuff with my photos lol :D
    But Im an amatuer really and I dont use anything to *improve* them...
    these are the originals, always raw as theyre taken... :D

    Means a lot to me.

    I always like to *frame* my photos if possible, or put something unusual in like the branches on the first one.
    Its just the way I see things, Im not perfect, but I know what I like...

    lol...I really know nothing about taking pics...and like you say....same with me,I know what I like....and don´t really care to much about what anyone else thinks....I think.... haha....

    when I first started taking pics with a digital cam, I also was very ....like "don´t wanne do stuff to´em...that´s cheating" ...but I´ve changed my mind. It´s like part of the package when using a digicam, or what to call it. Point is..."doing stuff" to pics in for instance photoshop isn´t necessarily easy at all. That to can take...blood, sweat and tears....and days.....lol ;)

    anyway....the branches in your pic are essential to it...IMO

    i looked at all your summer pics from the links you sent me...
    you should post some of those! they were amazing...
    i love the close-up of you, up to your eyes in the water, and the reflection of your face...
    and there's one of the sea with huge rolling waves that was breathtaking...
    you're a great photographer! :D

    I will most definitely post some of those later on.
    I do enjoy taking photos very much. and some of my most favorite ones actually turned out good by accident. :D haha
    Ive got lots, so I will put a few every day or so...or hour :p

    Underwater and summer pics are coming soon. I miss summer already...

    Yes, Im sure I will do that eventually someday, but for now, dont have time or money to get photoshop :o

    I cant believe youre only an amateur too, Pin. I thought you at least took a class, your pics are always great and I enjoy looking :)

    It was a fun winter day at the beach.
    And this totally happened spontanously.
    this was I think the first photo of the many I took of these pebbles in the air. and it turned out the best ;)

    If youd like to come in winter, lets hope there will be some snow.
    this was taken in late Dec of '05. and it was a pretty rough winter. last one was pretty mild, so we might not get that much snow ever...
    I dont like winter, but I do like snow, lol
