Tears.....

My tears are my heart
Shedding a layer
To keep it from becoming hardened

They flow through my body
Onto the ground
Where they grow cold
And harden to ice

Freezing icicles
Stab at me
Turning sadness to anger
And then I can begin to heal
sometimes life don't leave you alone

    These puddles need to turn to ice.
    Or they must evaporate.

    Stagnant water is a stagnant me.
    They must disappear so I can be free.
