I just got back from the Kokua festival and found out that my firend finished a painting of Mr.Vedder for me....

I took that pic with a camera phone and will bring my real camera and take more pics tomorrow, I was just excited to share. i love it!

    not bad at all

    lower arm angle is off and the arm/hand needs more shading & definition, but that could also just be a lack of detail from your phone foto. back of hair lighting looks great tho.

    stage colour work is mighty hard i think, because the lighting makes every detail & shadow so much more intense and different to natural light work. What sort of paint does your friend work with?
