The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!
And I won't make the same mistakes

Because I know how much time that wastes

Speaking of Audioslave...My friend just went to their concert at MSG and said it was amazing. I'm a big Chris Cornell and Audioslave fan myself and I was wondering whether their live shows are available anywhere online for download like PJ?0

I just found out this morning that I can play my CDs on my computer. I already listened to Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong, but this also means I can listen to Holiday music (including the Charlie Brown Christmas, John Denver, and Johnny Mathis among others) the minute I come back from New Jersey. I actually find it difficult to write with music on - unless it's turned low in the background.
But what I listen to is mostly grunge/alternative
classic rock
classical
jazz
jam bands
typical northeastern white suburbanite kind of stuff0 -
Where are you, anyway? Aren't you suppose to be east of the east coast?EvilToasterElf wrote:I actually find it difficult to write with music on - unless it's turned low in the background.

Hey, I've heard a few cure songs, a friend taped a couple for me, plus I heard some on tv. I love what I've heard so far so I have been wanting to buy a cd, but I'm not rich so I'm just looking to buy 1 CD. Which would you recommend? (PS, I no good with names, I wouldn't have a clue what the names of the songs I have heard are)0 -
I have three favourite bands that I love listening to,
Pearl Jam
Powderfinger
Shihad/Pacifier
other than that it's kinda a mixed bag, in no particular order...
The Who
Creadence Clearwater Rival
Soundgarden
Kenny Rogers
Paul Kelly
Crowded House
Jebediah
Neil Young
Temple of the Dog
Red Hot Chili Peppers
and quite a few bands local to Melbourne that noone would have heard of
and a little bit of coldplay rem and u2
But I would say about 2 thirds of my collection consists of may fav 30 -
their new cd...Bloodflowers...is not to bad. For a single CD, their first 2 are their best.
Staring At The Sea, and Galore are 2 greatest hits albums, Staring At The Sea covering up to the mid 80s and Galore there after. However, theri newer "Greatest Hits" album is actually kinda weak. The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!
And I won't make the same mistakes
