There is a big world outside my window,
full of sorrow, full of pain,
many injustices, many things to want to help,

How can you give love if you can't feel,
How can you give what you don't know how to,

A broken heart from vicious attacks
or just that no one ever showed you,
no one held your hand,

Would a gentle touch ease the brokeness,
softly spoken words or ears to listen,
eyes that mirrored empathy,

Because no one told you you were special,
never made you feel like you belonged,

Would you love yourself if someone else
compassionately showed you the way?
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

    Thanks to all! I have faith that keeps me strong and going. Those that don't I worry about. I guess I am just very soft hearted.
