...what is life?
You are all a bunch of creative thinking artistic people so surely you can answer this question to your own satisfaction in poetry form, etc. Me, this type of question is sending me crazy recently so I would love to hear/see some answers. What are we? What is existance? What's the point? Is there a point? The first question holds all these questions and many, many more, so if you all want to share your take on the topic I'd be grateful.

it would take more life times to answer your question
than lives that were ever born and died.
perhaps then it would not even be solved.
yet the answer is probably not as difficult as we believe it to be.
and yet it is extremely huge.

According to Peter Cook, it was raspberry jam. According to Dudley Moore, it was raspberry jam, up the arse. Depends on your philosophical take on the importance of raspberry jam in life, really.0

Life's the time we spend out here
the time we wait for death to come
our fear of death drives us in life
towards life
Yet, we judge the one thing we don't know
yes, the opposite of life
the only thing you never come back from
maybe death is better than life
life is peanut butter and jelly

Wake up in the morning, do some stuff until you fall asleep at night.
Over and over again until one morning you don't wake up.
Probably there's more meaning, but that's the bare bones of it.&&&&&&&&&&&&&&0 -
I believe the point of life is to improve that of anothers. The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!
And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key0 -

Anyway, that's as deep as I'll go. Wanna hear a dick or a fart joke?
no. not a huge fan of the dick and fart jokes, but thanks for offering
yeah, I guess life is the opposite of death, if you're not one you're the other aren't you, but what is it that deterines life or lack of death?0 -

Very true
Iwas kind of hoping for a few more poetic responses though, being the poetry section and all. Do you have a poem to share, even if you wrote it ages ago?0 -

Seriously.thanks, but I am multi-tasking. I am thinking and questioning life while all the time living my life as well.

What if I place more importance on my grandmother's grape jam and don't really care much at all for raspberry jam? I'm stuffed, aren't I?0 -

Thank you for putting your thoughts down in poetry.
Peanut butter and jelly sounds too weird to me. I don't understand the americans' attraction to this odd combination. Give me good old vegemite any time0 -
just so I don't skip over the whole relevent content of your poem, yeah, who knows, maybe death is better, but I think I can wait to find out
I don't really have a fear of death (well I never used to before I had a husband and family to look after and love), but I always did have a fear of living forever. Am I the odd one out or is this a common fear???0
