Are the memories I cherish,
special at all to you?
Do you see them with the love,
that I always do?
The magical moments,
that bring tears to my eyes.
The happiness I've felt with you,
that makes me never want to say "goodbye".
Does your heart fill up with love,
every time you see my face?
Do you think about me,
no matter the time or place?
No matter how full life gets,
do you view me as a blessing you're thankful for?
Each and every moment spent,
do you always hunger for more?
When I hear your contagious laughter,
and a joke that makes me smile.
And your wonderfully sweet and sexy voice,
that makes me always want to stay a while.
Do you watch me walk into a room,
and thank your lucky stars above?
Are you ever grateful for the chance,
to enjoy a true and honest love?

    very well written. I'm a guy and I write alot of stuff similar just not as good so I don't like to share :( I did post one on here though recently called My Love.
    Thanks for sharing and inspiring us guys to keep writing.

    I personally don't like overly gushy poems by men for their women (or vice versa), you know, ones where heaven and earth are moved and all that tripe but ones about simple, honest and true love, like, the way she tucks her hair behind her ear making his heart beat a little faster, that's good kinda stuff. :)

    I agree BE. Men seem to be very good at hiding their feelings and it always keeps you guessing.

    I don't know, I like some of the "overly gushy" poems. I like the passion put into it as long as it's real. I do like the simple, honest, true love ones better though, maybe they seem more realistic.

    Damn then what kind of guy am I?? I think I'm pretty open especially when it comes to my feelings. Sometimes, it gets me in trouble because I expect the same back and you can't always get that. And its true, you girls aren't so simple either.. I think that's what drives us guys crazy for you.. all the wondering about what goes on in your head and the pure enjoyment you bring into our lives.

    A great poem and makes you want to have someone to appreciate that much.

    sometimes some girls complain about guys not showing their feelings ans when they do, the chicks just.. act stupid I guess. never happy!

    If you are thinking "last", well, I don't believe that to be true. Maybe you just haven't met the right girl for you yet, but I believe there is that special someone for everyone out there.

    I am open with what I am thinking. It does however ussually cause a mild trauma in people

    haha, well perhaps not everything they are thinking (unless they put it down in creative form :)), but I wish if they were thinking they love you that they would say it, if they were thinking you looked particularly nice today that they would tell you. The nice stuff, the way they were just thinking about something you did together, etc, etc. We are not mind readers :)

    but if it's accompanied by an evil stare and a scary tone of voice? Body language is language :) No I'm pretty up front with all that stuff. At least I hope I am. I say what I mean and mean what I say.

    body tone and tone....exactly....this is what I am saying. I myself am pretty good at reading it, but most guys simply can't see the signals. If a woman says go ahead...a man does just that. Women have used body language and tone for centuries....hint hint....it doesn't work.
