than stones thrown
and kicked through ashes
could indicate
i've pencilsharpened my limbs
skyscraped nightly, coping
i have come to terms
with each dictionary
and composed my theories
on the inner walls of silos

war is to peace
as chalk is to sidewalks
a supplement,
a steering wheel of sorts
no stories are told
without first clearing throats
of any blood

    I just looked at all six of your posts. Your political views are very interesting to me. Your work itself hits me as being as sharp and cutting as a twist of John Lennon, with some Nikki Giovanni thrown in.
