A Delightful Dip

Perched above,
scoping the 'scape,
launching, projecting,
in thin air...
Flying so free...
Sensuously slucing,
seriously slicing,
submerged sensitivitiy,
slightly surfacing,
silky strokes,
waves creating waves...
Extremities crashing,
a beautiful ballet
of outstretched arms,
the language of legs,
torso, shoulder, hips,
rock n' roll lips,
part parched
for breaths between
breaths, breathlessly
breathing, between
bursts of backstroke,
or as I,
freestyle all the while
increasing smiles,
could go for miles!
And miles!
And miles!
And miles!
And miles!
Oh yeah!
I strive past sore,
just like before,
as I've tasted the shores
of Evermore.

:)

It was icky, sticky hot n' humid in my neck of the woods yesterday and the same's on the schedule today...it made me think of this old poem of mine because I could sure use a dip right about now! :D
