Some have said that there are no good internet poets on here.
The guy who wrote this for me was my friend and love for a while. He is truly one of the best poets I have ever known, and this is just a sample of his genious.
He hates me now... which I will never understand. The last time we talked I asked him to tell me he would always love me and he called me a bitch, he was truly angry and disgusted with me ..... I still dont understand why because we werent together we couldnt always love each other. I think I have a lot to learn still about men
Anyway, regardless of how he feels I will always love this man and be grateful to him for bringing poetry and passion and feeling back into my life after a long drought.

november was her name
bland
the mirrors reflection
the cold outside
this pain in my head
everything pertaining to our demise
i'll play taps for you
the suns warmth has forgotten so much
here in my heart of november
words seem all too distant
cover our eyes with unsalted tears
prepare for disdain and oncoming years
never been written
so easily forgotten
echos of ages
and crestfallen pages
hurridly waiting
for something to come.....

thats a fantastic ending.. makes one want only more and more and more...
you are certainly right eden, there are poets all over this internet who lack recognition.. "hurridly waiting... for something to come"..
thanks for sharing so much and for interacting with my rambling verses!change begins with discontent.0

youre right he is a very talented poet and that poem is asolutely beautiful and as for the men there is nothing to understand men are not the same once you understand one well you just understand one but yes we do share common feelings and emotions but over all each man is thouroughly different than the nextso dont waste your time trying to understand "men" try to understand humans in general now thats hard but after a while you realize we are all exactly alike and completely different i know its a paradox but theres are so many parodoxes in life you seem to become accustomed with them and understand that you cant undertstand see theres another man oh man i must sound like a delusional homeless man ranting and raving on a street corner i hope i helped kinda . . .alone...0

            Thanks you two
I can still cry after all this time when I read his poetry.
Im such an idiot and LBC I will never understand because it seems like a "common" trait in guys. But thanx for trying
Velvet, youre a trip..therefore I like you and accept you immediately!
Lets hear it for internet poets!!!0

There are lots of good poets on the Internet. There are some smashing writers on this board, too. I think of Bibliobella, cassia (who posted last year), Tchaliz and Kwijibo immediately. There are no 'masters' though (though I don't care for the gender implications of the name). That's just commonsense to know that. You have to have a long published career and your work has to survive you long after you're dead to count as a 'master'.0

Yeah, you'll have to excuse me. I'm a big Irish bully at times, but I mean well. 0 0

that's fucked. i'd kick his ass. how dare he. bastard.
 sorry ~~
but yes... the poem is amazing.. it's like one of those movies that you just have to watch over and over again and with each time you see it you understand it a little better.. i love that. really gives me something to think about.Jon Stewart: "[about Russia's new president]...Dmitri Medevvvevv.... Dmitri Meh..... Dmitri M.! Or... as George W. Bush would probably pronounce it... Eddie Vedder."

            up and coming
 we have something wonderful
 for my next trick
 we both dissapear
 into our heads
 (or asses)
 packed with transmission
 incision
 the grey
 redundant and clear
 that heart
 (it bleeds)
is attached to a sleeve dear
 pinned with subversive repose
 iron on stitching
 fade for the decades
 like all other worldly woe
 intentions
 (inventions)
 are easily splayed here
 reactions
 (retractions)
 reluctantly flow
 as with your hiding
 so sick of confide-ing
into a fantasy world she goes
you fired on the field back there
and like a child i fell wounded
 how dare i
 how dare i
 how dare
 to understand me-n
 lo-ve
 li-fe
 the af-ter-life
 you mu-st fol-d
 all those hand-s of half-truth
 you owned my heart
 dear eden
 you ruled it's every fiber
 my every chord
 it's every beat
like a beautiful monarch you flew
 knowing completely
as you think you know yourself
let us drop all the make beliefs
 the lets pretends
 all the lets imagines
 the half life fantasies
 all those things which consume
 your version of reality
 for a moment
 just a momnet
 just a moment
 just a moment
 let us observe our actions
 from the outside looking in
let us both exist as real
for the first time in years
 let us both exist
 i exist
 you exist
 they exist
 let this old dog sleep
bury this checkered past in slumber
let all these new faces become strangers
 to find you beautifully misunderstood
and cut this bullshit tie that binds0

The stars and the streetlights blurring with the leaves.
Tears in our eyes creating the scene.
A watercolor world, willed into existence.
Tears now streaming down your cheeks,
the fiery passion dissolved into something weak.
Your bare shoulders pale in the twilight,
I kissed your forehead, wanting to set it right.
You seem to attract those types of guys
like bees to honey, yet you're always surprised.
I'm not like that, I swear to God in heaven.
I'll sit with you all night if I have to, I'll stay right here.
 the memory will disappear.
The world knows that he is the fool
No man is good enough for your tears
no man is good enough for you.The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway, is that its you, and that you're standing in the doorway.
I write down good reasons to freeze to death in my spiral ring notebook. But in the long tresses of your hair--I am a babbling brook.0

Im not like you, when I love I love forever
You can keep your black heart of stone
that fills itself with every hurt you ever perceived as intentional.
i seriously cant believe i fell for this again.
you get the high school drama that you so odiously crave from so many sources and yet i was silly enough to take such juvenile bait.
now all the faceless friends that you pretend to admire and love will flock to your defense because you were obviously wronged by a monster of the heart.
good for you sweetie, i honestly wish you no ill will, just leave my name, words and memories out of your future crusades.
 it's all i ask.0

 Im sorry TG..
Ive tried to find you to say this
but you wont be found by me.
 Ill love you infinity
 for all you taught me
at the inception of my soul.
Maybe in the next life, Ill finally get it right.0
