The reflection of the moon on the sea
Validated her beliefs in cosmic philosophies
The natural flow of the waves
Inspired the sunlight of her spirit
The possiblities of the unknown
Excite her thoughts of the timeless abyss
If only all humans could be taoists

    I like the last line best, because it shows that the speaker's moment of communion with nature is in opposition to the fact that most humans aren't taoists. It's the "It could be otherwise" idea that is part of the revolutionary strength of this poem.

    down dark corridors of old-timer ascetics.
    Stringing strands of freshly fallen flowers
    open to an exchange of composite secrets.
