Guys, can one of you please help me?

I'm looking to create some images like the cartoon-y two-tone ones in the recent bootleg companion.

i'm using Photoshop and/or PSP but can't figure it out, any tips?

thanks in advance.

it depends on the version you are working in.

    i would assume everything you
    build has layersto it
    do you
    understand

what images on the bootlegs? i am confused early in the morning. :)

im trying to come up with a solution i know now its could
be one filter or plug in

but it looks like its also a posterization of some sort

make a copied layer of your image

cut out part y ou dont want

    delete it,

this will act as your mask and you can adjust the top layer to mix with the bottom
like in the link you provided

go to image mode grayscale it, then adjust your brightness and contrast so more
    white space will stand out

then make a duotone of whatever image mode duotone of the colors you want,

again you can adjust your brightness contrast

after this try adding some noise in your filters area this may not be exact but it will help

    :)

if you have a posterize filter use it.
