lincoln logs?
lincoln logs!
lincoln logs is godly,
but only in october after
the harvest.
wasn't her face so pretty,
in the store window,
in march, when it rained?
wasn't it painful to read that last
question and not vomit
uncontrollably?
it's PERFORMANCE ART,
get it quick,
soon it'll be a cereal
with a 1930's crooner for the mascot.
by our bedside we all keep a journal,
all our thoughts together in one messy
place, and we keep some alarm clocks there too,
they go off and get you going
when its time for
workschoollunchdinnersexdrivework,
but alarm clocks aren't very beautiful or enticing.
and yesterday it was cool-calm
and sunny
and i went for a run
and blah blah blah,
and that's what happened yesterday,
as if it was important,
or something like that.
and we all have, in our bodies,
some kind of liquid that is red or blue,
and it pumps and does what red or blue
liquid does.
doesn't it?
maybe not.
but usually.
i sink into quicksand whenever i'm able,
and i think i'm probably a little insane,
but not the good kind of insane,
where people might call me a genius,
because really we're all stupid
and like to ignore the beautiful boring things in life,
but isn't a shame
or a sham
or spaghetti?
koo-koo-kah-choo.
biscuits please,
and some gravy, we real hungry,
we real thirsty, we real drunk,
we real rebels, we real lively,
don'tcha think?
think tank.
but anyways, get a move on brother,
get a plan and get a move on,
real quick too, before time runs out,
and you find out that the grass
isn't so green and doesn't taste so good
in your lungs,
and the sky isn't so blue as you,
or me.

if you're asking if i wrote it, yes i did, in about 5 minutes, while bored at work...
i never try to be ironic, just brilliant
