first snowfall that sticks
white and dark chocolate silence

a soft parade comes this way
    smooth as silk
a snowflake melts on my tongue

You have always been the one
    Clearing cloudy days
"1/2Faithful-hush, no words...no words, just this one last time...dance with me, like the sun's never going to come up. People should be more like you, a young Andy Richter throwing caution to the wind, eating, drinking, and being sexy.

    God bless you. "- jayscott

cloudy days leave snow on trees
then an afterthought falls on my hat

I like that one even when you originally wrote it. :)

    shuffled leaves blowing
past the schoolyard on oak street
where my dog hath shat :D
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

The best! I want to take work off and set my tree up, and bake cookies. Maybe this evening, instead.

    scattered pine needles
    on my shoe
    walk beyond the driveway

:) I'm with ya. In fact, I'm taking tomorrow off to shop and intend to purchase the tree this weekend too. YIPEE!!! I love decorating! Unfortunately, I'm not much of a baker but my boyfriend always comes through in that category. :) I love fresh baked cookies! Extraspecially shortbreads. Yummers!!!! :D

    walk beyond the driveway
    to the open fields
    a winter wonderland
