Poem:Today(my heart is heavy)

Today(my heart is heavy)1-23-05

Today my heart is heavy
i think im going insane...
everyday is constantly
filled with a mother's pain...

i think about the fire
and that breaks my heart in two...
the fire that took my daughter's life
there was nothing i could do....

i contemplate me dying
should i commit suicide...
the teenage girl i lived for
she has already died...

she'll never get to marry
or turn sweet sixteen...
she'll never have babies
or pursue her childhood dreams...

the big blue eyes that smiled at me
i can't see them anymore...
all i have is her memory
and the wreath upon my door....

(i miss her so fucking bad)

    I can't imagine how hard that must be for you!!!!!!!

    All I can say is, may she rest in peace and may her beautiful memory live on inside the hearts of those who love her!

    This was a very painful poem to read but the feeling is SO very real...it's good to get those feelings out!

    I too wish I knew what to say to be of any comfort for you. saying "I'm sorry" just seems to ring too hollow, though I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. having kids I can't imagine the heartbreak I'd feel if I lost either of them.

    writing about the sorrow that you're having to deal with I'm sure is difficult, but you have done it so beautifully. I hope with your expressing your pain that you may find some peace
