If you want to destroy my sweater
Hold this thread as I walk away
Watch me unravel
I'll soon be naked
Lying on the floor
I've come undone

    I see someone here who opened up to someone and made themself very vulnerable to hurt and rejection

    I was thinking...in these words...the sweater represents a heart....and what the artist means by destroy is that he or she is giving it to someone....can take it andwho will either love it or hurt it



    what you you guys think.....

    How about this:

    A person's outward emotional covering can be pulled off by someone who knows him well if that person pulls at the edges of the facade. If someone tugs at it relentlessly so that the bare person in all his vulnerability is exposed, he no longer has any covering left to hide behind.

    I think this voluntarily given away to anyone..not necessarily to someone he or she is close to.. which is why this person in turn walked away...maybe they are hoping to be rescued.....
