haha Sugar ray :D Yes, I do I actually saw them on a tour with Goo Goo Dolls back in 98? 99?. FastBall opened as well. Actually sugar ray put on a pretty decent show I thought, actually all 3 bands did. They only played like 2 songs from floored and the rest of SR's set was 14:59 stuff. They had a mini bar on stage too wich I thought was cool and had like this whole coconut Hawaiian hut type set up all around the stage. Best part was lawn seats for opening weekend of the sale were 10 bucks. Saw I saw 3 pretty decent bands for 10 bucks. I couldn't complain. I just look at it going there's 3 more bands to add to my concert resume.'[/quote]

oh ok i payed much more
and i had some trouble ....

Stone Temple Pilots - HORRIBLE.....Weiland is an ass (the Mighty Mighty Bosstones opened - so at least the night wasnt a total write off)

RHCP - the show was free (wouldnt pay a penny to see them) but I wish I could have that 1.5 hours back

Screaming Trees/Soul Asylum/Spin Doctors - Soul Asylum were OK and they were the reason I went......but over all it was a truly painful day

Soundgarden/Nine Inch Nails - Soundgarden were terrible live, Cornells vocals were dreadful

Beck/Flaming Lips - 2 of my favorite bands/artists....the Lips opened and then played as Beck's backing band....but they blew the speakers early in the opening set and their show was cut really short (could have been a great night)
In my world everyone is a pony,

Thankfully on that tour Soul Asylum played the Twin Cities, where they are from, by themselves. SA rocked and I didn't have to sit through the Spin Doctors so I was happy.

Im surprised to hear Fleetwood Mac was bad, I saw some live stuff on tv once and was blown away by Lindsey Buckinghams guitar and the vocals were excellent.

i was quite suprised too. the vocals were just not there and the entire show
just seemed very disjointed, unorganized, almost chaotic.

agreed, lindsay buckingham is indeed an amazing guitarist.

though i did get rear ended on the way to the show
so maybe it was just me.

Saw them at Reading last year. Its the first time i have walked out of a concert, I would never see them again
This is my answer too. to the letter. Actually, I slept a bit before I walked. That was a terrible set. Painful even.

I've walked out of a two concerts in my life:

Bob Dylan at Roskilde in 2006.
    RHCP at Roskilde in 2007.

Dylan was probably cool if you really like the guy. I've got two of his records, know the most popular tunes but couldn't figure out what the hell he was doing or what song he was singing. RHCP were just so extraordinary boring.

Tom McRae (I think?) is a good number three. But Tori Amos was playing right after him, so couldn't walk out of that one.

Rest of the concerts I've been to haven't been that bad so they don't deserve being on the "worst" list really.

Collective Soul........headlined and didnt even play for an hour, the singer made a huge fool out of himself dancing

Funny you should mention these guys. I know they get a bad rap (from critics especially) but I've seen then 3X in SMALL venues and I loved every show. The singer IS a bit cheesey but I found it kind of endearing. No, they're not PJ but I find them to be a talented, singalong type band. "Catchy hooks" :D

They did a concert DVD with the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra and it should be shown to ANYONE who would even consider cutting music programs in our schools. The kids' faces are priceless - it nearly had me bawling :D

just thought of another REALLY bad experience...

Peter Stuart, former frontman of Dog's Eye View. Bad stories and bad music. Fancied himself as the funniest mother effer in the universe. It was hard for me to hurl only insults at the stage and not OBJECTS. He was an opener for Edwin McCain and went on FOREVER.

Finally, I couldn't take anymore and went outside. There I met a whole group of people who felt the same :D.

    In no particular order:

Counting Crows - *snore* one of the reasons I stopped listening to rock music in the late-1990s.

Tool - boring and impersonal, predictable set

Fat Joe - performed his bullshit radio cuts instead of the authentic gangsta shit that niggas wanted to hear

Cheap Trick - waste of time. Those who say that Cheap Trick is "great" in concert need to step out of the late-70s and attend a real show for once.

And finally, some stupid fucking reggaeton concert that an ex-girlfriend dragged me along to. Reggaeton is the lowest form of music. I have no respect for anyone who listens to that shit.

oh, I also went to a free "hoedown" in downtown Detroit and there were 4 country artists on the bill

it was god awful, and I only went because the girl I was dating liked that kind of shit

fortunatly, people watching and laughing got me through the night

the headliner was some tool who was on American Idol, but didn't win, but was from Michigan and was a country singer on Idol
