Foo Fighters cover of "Your so Vain"

The Foo performed this Carly Simon tune at the Grammy nominations last night. Odd choice but they rocked it like only the FF can. Sorry, can't post the link from youtube. Anyone?

    wow, interesting. I hope a version pops up on youtube soon. I just can't really picture them doing that song. The Foos do some great covers though.

    the lyrics of that song always bothered me. "you probably think this song is about you" - well, who else is it about then? it's at least partially about the vain person in question.

    it was such a stupid and unnecessary cover. Just... dumb. What WAS good, however, was Grohl's drawl as he announced the country nominees. That I enjoyed.

    Agreed, the drawl made me chuckle also. Unnecessary cover? Maybe, but how do you determine what songs are "coverable". Maybe the Foos have a soft spot for Carly Simon tunes.

    One of my all-time favourites! I guess I like silly covers.

    here is the you're so vein cover. I'm just not a fan of this song at all in general, but nice attempt of giving this ballad a little edge.

    I love it.
    My fav is probalbly the I Feel Free cover that Taylor sings.

    I like how taylor hits those high notes when he does the backing vocals. Never heard him hit them quite like that. Sweet!
