A day I am personally very grateful for. This man was a gift and wether people or like it or not he had a huge impact on many lives. Kurt connected with the masses. I’m beyond thankful for all that he gave, created, shared. His voice lives on forever. And what it voice it was.

I love how sloppy he’d get with it at times. haha. Cracking and breaking all over the place! Ah I LOVE IT! He was truly unique. I miss him.

I’ll have the Nirvana in heavy rotation all day today. A tribute for sure.... but Kurt is always in my thoughts.

Nirvana is undeniably one of my fav bands. Always has been, always will be. It's funny feeling like this is something you need to defend. :rolleyes:
Anyways, Bleach and In Utero OWN! I can’t imagine a musical world without them.

Kurt Cobain and Nirvana changed my life. Plain and simple. My life wouldnt be the same if it hadnt of been for this band and this man. It was a truely sad day when he died.

Thank you Kurt, and happy 40th.

Its quite sad indeed that we havent had another "music scene" or resurgence of rock since he died.

As far as his best songs, Something In the Way is chilling. Sliver is mindblowing. Polly is a great song.

I love Nirvana, but I really haven't listened to them in a while. But reading those lyrics brought back a lot of memories. Some of those lyrics are really mysterious and beautiful.

I think my favorite song is Dive. It has that great riff, really heavy vibe, and hypnotic atmosphere. Takes me to another place when I listen to it.
