Apparently, this is the tentative release date for GNR's new album......after all this waiting and letdowns I'm still excited.......

    I just checked http://www.gunsnroses.com and there is no other news other than the recording is complete...fuck sakes.

    Yah more waiting but their new (leaked) single Better is unofficially being circulated thru the radio stations....pretty sure the album won't be released on the 6th but possibly the new single may be, then a few weeks of promotion i imagine....then the album. It's gotta be getting close....

    I'm thinking sometime in the fall. It would be a perfect early summer release, but I doubt they'll have it done by then.

    there's a leak out there. not sure if its the finished product, its 10 songs, the 1st one being the track "better" that you can listen to on some sites.

    I am still a fan of the music. Axl is going about it the wrong way but it doesn't change the fact that he is a lyrical genious (based on past work) and the new band is severely talented. To me, good music is good music. I think of Axl as if he has a disorder (which may not be far from the truth) and do not hold it against him. Let him be and maybe the music will come. Until then more PJ.

    All I know is that I caught them live last year and the new songs actually sound really good.

    Chinese Democracy will get here when it gets here. I'll have new Clutch, Porcupine Tree, Queens Of The Stone Age, Finger Eleven, Rush, and Chris Cornell to tide me over...

    looking foward to the new Finger Eleven, i saw them open for Hinder (dont ask) and i was impressed with the new stuff, alot different from their last album that was way to pop for me

    as far as GnR, it amazes me how people still hold on to the release of this album, granted im gonna check it out too since im a fan but you can only hold your breath for so long

    I third that.... Better is actually really solid.
    Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
