What are your thoughts on Rammstein? I think they are okay but nothing too special.

    I think you can listen to a whole cd (if you can make it through) and maybe only one or two songs would be asking you to listen again.

    In general, I don't think they're too good.

    Rammstein is the greatest live band ever. Sure, they don't have a guitar god like McCready, and most likely you won't understand what the hell they are singing about, but I can assure you: you won't be bored. They put up a GREAT show.

    Gotta say that those German boys kick a**!!! Granted a majority of us cannont understand them, but this is a great point in which the lyrics do no matter...what matters is the crunch of the guitar, the energy of the music! These guys rock...hands down.

    I do understand the lyrics and they are a big part of me not liking them. That and their political background.

    They sound similar to Laibach and that is because they were influenced by them. Laibach> a Slovenian band :)..maybe somebody has heard of them. They are quite popular outside Slovenia.
    The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

    Fucking great band, good albums, good music, and, above all, a very good live set!! I've seen them in 1997, 2002, and 2005...all those shows were amazing!!

    So fucking crazy they are playing 3 nights at Ullevi Arena - 180.000 people or something. Pretty much only Bruce plays 3 nights here.
