Reminds me of a friend who'd sing it with an extreme Irish accent. More entertaining than the original. :)

Hey, earlier I was listening to the First Lady of France's smokey lounge-pop chanson album. That's got to be worth obscurity points just for being so utterly surreal, right? :D

Listening to Husker Du's Eight Miles High right now, hopefully soon to be listened to on lovely 7" vinyl thanks to our very own Trixie :)

I got the first 3 Rainbow albums on cd today...that's as obscure as I go. I fight for the honour of classic rock to the death....I laugh in the face of being labelled a cheese lover!....Take a truck load of Husker Du, or them Arsehole surfers if you like, I'll keep my Rainbow albums anyday :o.

Dude, Husker Du were just a pop band :) Even at their most punk, they were just hiding 60s pop songs under tons of distortion. I mean, watch this:

Nothing weird about them. I dislike the Butthole Surfers too. I'm actually opposed to weird-for-the-sake-of-weird music, believe it or not.
