How much does Creed suck?

Creed is actually from my hometown, Tallahassee, FL. I remember back when they had their first CD release party way back before they went National. This is when they actually were good. Their local album was much more raw then what everyone else in the country first heard. By their next album, they had lost it...but some how everyone loved them.
The thing that I think is so funny is that as soon as they made it big, they never claimed Tallahassee as where they were from. They wouldn't even tour here, but Alter Bridge always comes back home on their tours. I wonder who didn't want to come back to Tally? Shit, I remember the band memebers working at various resturants around town right before they signed. I believe Scott Stapp used to work at a Chilis or a local seafood place. Either way, I can't stand these guys and I'm glad they are gone.
Thank God, Scott's solo album was a bust!

How much does Creed suck? How about as much as they blow. All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.0

There was a death metal band called Creed, here in Cambridge circa 1991-2. They made a demo called, "And Then He Showed Me The Taste of My Murdered Head."
They were quite good.0 -

Whats the point of making another "Creed sucks" thread, aren't there enough already? For people who seem to hate this band you sure spend alot of time and energy talking about them.0

Yeah I went to FSU when Creed blew up nationally and they totally ignored Tallahassee after they made it big. Pretty lame. Their manager used to manage(or own I can't remember) Floyd's Music Store in Tallahassee from what I remember, but quit when Creed made it big.
From what I have heard in interviews Scott Stapp came to Tallahassee originally because he heard about how Jim Morrison went to FSU and wanted to follow his career as a huge fan.
However, Creed sucks IMO.9/17/95-New Orleans,LA 8/14/00-New Orleans,LA 4/8/03-New Orleans,LA 4/13/03-Tampa,FL 10/8/04-Kissimmee,FL 8/5/07-Chicago,IL 6/16/08-Columbia,SC 6/23/09-(EV Solo)Atlanta,GA 5/1/10-New Orleans,LA 9/21/12-Pensacola,FL 11/1/13-New Orleans,LA 4/11/16-Tampa,FL 4/23/16-New Orleans,LA

You're 100%. Yeah, Creed's old manager was the owner of Floyds. Trust me, Floyds gets much better shows now without the prick.NickyNooch wrote:Yeah I went to FSU when Creed blew up nationally and they totally ignored Tallahassee after they made it big. And I've heard the whole Jim, Scott thing before too.
