Anyone Like Iron Maiden?

Ok i was just viewing the other guys post in the Porch Section on iron maiden i think that topic needs to be deleted. I mean i think it was totally unnecessary that You cussed out other members just because you like Iron Maiden and that you think they are better than Pearl Jam. I mean this is a Pearl Jam Forum you shouldnt post if you dislike Pearl Jam. Wise words to you mate Id appreciate if you left my fellow Jammers alone and just go about your business. But I like iron maiden a lot im a big fan but i wont bash pearl jam just because i like iron maiden i probably am a bigger fan than you are of iron maiden So what? Its pointless. But anyways lets keep down the hate. With that said does anyone like Iron Maiden? I think they are a better band musically when it compared to Metallica now and all the other nu metal bands i think Nu Metal and Emo has killed rock n roll over all. I mean there are not many bands like Pearl Jam or Iron Maiden out there am i right? Not anymore anyway.

    Fear of the Dark is a kick ass album, so is Powerslave. Only beef is Bruce Dickenson. Hate his voice and unfortunately he's on their best albums in my opinion. But better than Metallica Iron Maiden is not ;)

    I meant compared to New Metallica New Metallica sucks. I like everything from Kill Em All to The Black Album everything else is pretty watered down St Anger is the worst of them all

    Actually I have to disagree with this. There are tonnes of bands that are better than Maiden and Pearl Jam (Quadruple this number if you are talking about bands that are making better albums than Maiden and PJ are now)

    Actually I like those albums. Metallica is no different than Pearl Jam in the sense that they like to experiment and sometimes things turn out less than pretty.

    well if you say there are better bands out there than PJ, metallica, and maiden, then go ahead name some?

    Personally i think its nothing but teeny bopper crap like Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, System Of A Down, NickelBack, and a ton of other watered down Nu Gruge Nu Metal, and TONS of Emo bands i fucking hate emo excuse my language

    i dont know half of those bands except for a few that you mentioned Sonic Youth are old they have been around practically as long as Pearl jam. Strapping Young Lad just toured Ozzfest, and ive also heard of Stereo lab the other bands i dont know but they play strapping young lad on the radio along with stereo lab and sonic youth.

    yeah, except Sonic Youth is still making good albums.

    SYL got played on the radio? I almost don't believe it. Stereolab? What stations are these?

    I just got into Iron Maiden only 2 years ago and they r one of my favorite bands now. I love the guitar solos and lyrics. My favorite album would have to be Brave New World, every song is a real gem.
