I like Jar of Flies most...
anyway, I burned both of them in a cd and it became my favourite cd by now

and you?

    They are both very good. I think Jar of Flies was a little better.

    I agree. I love JOF.. Sap is great but really feels like an EP.. JOF is a complete work of art.

    Both are pretty awesome but I personally prefer SAP...

    jar of flies. nutshell puts it over the top. i love that fucking song. i stay away is great too. hell the whole album is awesome.

    Jar of Flies. love Rotten Apple, Nutshell, I Stay Away, No Excuses, Whale & Wasp, and Don't Follow. never liked Swing on This.
    Sap is good, especially Brother and Right Turn... Got Me Wrong got on my nerves after a while and Am I Inside was just okay. bonus song was lame-o.

    I've done the same as the original poster and combined the two. It's an awesome shuffle cd.

    The 2 best AIC albums, IMHO. I think I'm gonna do that as well - these 2 EPs are awesome, probably even better when they are combined.

    I love me some Sap. Usually I'd say it's my favorite AIC disc unless I'm in a dark mood, then I've gotta go with Dirt. Jar of Flies is great too though. Good question.

    I like JoF better, it has more mood changes in it than SAP, but I really like them both. I don't like "Swing on This" (just like somebody else already mentioned). I loved the duet with Chris Cornell on SAP and 'Got Me Wrong', but I don't think it can stand up overall against JoF.

    but they are so great considering their 3 full length albums are so heavy metal/grunge, you have these 2 eps that are such a change of pace. it makes for a great concert setlist and it keeps the heavy separated from the slower moody songs.

    The production on this album is perfect. Rotten Apple and Nutshell are just hauntingly beautiful songs.

    mix the two albums togther and it probobly would have made the best aic album

    If I have to choose, the I'd say 'Jar Of Flies'. But like other have said, both together is just perfect.

    Just shows what a talented band they are.

    jar of flies is so awesome in so many ways. I love on the video collection with the home movies where jerry cantrel says fuck this 7 songs is good enough

    Jar of Flies has not one bad track. Sap has a disadvantage though because it's 2 songs shorter and one was obviously a joke.

    So yeah...I choose Jar of Sap.
