    And yes, New Adventures is a damn fine album, one of their best. Tbh I'm a little obsessed with Life's Rich Pageant atm, it's awesome! Absolutely love Underneath the Bunker... show's REM's quirkiness at it's best :D
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    I always thought it must just crash for me cos no one has ever mentioned it as far as I've seen. It's especially annoying when you take your lunch between 12 and 12.30 usually and that's the time it goes down!!

    No, I was at Wembley but we didn't know each other at the time. We met on here and then in 'real' life in November... the rest, as they say, is history :)

    I take my lonch at 1pm but sneak posts in during the day. 12:10pm is always a pain... and I always seem to refresh at that time everyday... damn being a creature of habit :rolleyes:

    So you're seeing REM in Cardiff? Not venturing out to Twickenham?

    What have the average show length been? I have seen b/w about 23 and 27 songs. Just wondering. Seeing them in Raleigh, who else going?

    Cool....my wife and I originally knew each other from the Foo Fighters forum and met at their show in Glasgow in 2003 :) Who says the internet isn't romantic?

    NO, not venturing as far as Twickenham. The stadium in Cardiff is only about 20 minutes from our house.

    Yeah, Editors and Guillamots for support. Could be worse, could be better. At Cardiff in 2005 we had Idlewild (Who were awersome, as ever) and The Zutons (who were pants!)

    Idlewild are great, I saw them back in 2000 and then again when they supoorted PJ at Wembley. The Zutons? I really can't comment :p Dunno if the support for REM will be good or not, tbh i'm not really a fan of any of this mass produced British new age indie shit but who knows? They could be the greatest thing since sliced bread live...

    Yeah, Idlewild never fail to impress live. Seen them a bunch of times....was so pleased when they announced as the PJ support last year. When they played with R.E.M. they did Sweet Home Alabama with Mike Mills on the piano...was pretty cool.

    I really don;t think Editirs or Gullimots are the best thing since sliced bread but out of the current crop of British indie bands there are worse ones out there......Razorlight for example.
