The last time CC did anything of note was Superunknown, and that's not even Soundgarden's best album. The most amazing thing is that there's only been two really good songs since 1994 ('Burden In My Hand' and 'Cochise') and we are still surprised by the decline.

I was one of those who somewhat foolishly thought the 'Unplugged In Sweden' bootleg was a sign of things to come - if ever there was a voice that should just have an acoustic guitar behind it, it's Cornell's. I guess I couldn't have been more wrong.

    Depressing.
    Shameful.
    Shocking. Truly shocking.

    BULL. SHIT.

DOTU is some of SG's most mature, thoughtful work! incredible album! it was to SG what no code is to PJ... just imagine if they had a chance to do the SG equivalent of yield

But surely that's the point. They never got the chance to make a 'Yield' and DOTU is the reason for that. DOTU was the album that killed Soundgarden. Less than half of that album is worth repeated listens. The tours were awful, they clearly hated being in the band together and there was no way Soundgarden could ever recover from that.

They truly peaked with Badmotorfinger, sustained that level with Superunknown and died a horrible death after DOTU.

Audioslave? 'Carry On'?? Timberfcknland??? A truly irreversible downward spiral.

    Like I said - shameful

Hey, it's just an opinion man. I've been a fan since I stole my cousin's blue vinyl of Screaming Life sometime in 1989 (I still have it) but DOTU is my least favourite Soundgarden album, 'Burden' excepted.

I stand by both of my earlier posts simply because it's hard to remember the last time Cornell did anything worth giving a shit about

There is a blue Screaming Life? I know of Orange, Black, Purple, Red...but never seen a blue. Would you be interested in unloading that? :D

But DOTU has Tighter & Tighter on it! The closest thing to perfect Chris Cornell has ever written!

And will ever write, by the looks of it.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

Hell no! Sorry! It's kind of a grey/blue (like the colour of the band name on the cover) with feint white swirls through it so it looks kinda marbled. It's a beautiful thing

Oh goddamn! I did not even know that existed. I thought the 4 colors I have were the only ones.

If you ever decide to get rid of that keep me in mind! In lieu of that, my search for this is now on :)

I really hope you get hold of one!

Aww, not again! I made a crack about Chris inevitably popping up in a Boost Mobile commercial and looking into the camera and saying "Where you at?" and now the thread is gone!

Though it probably has something to do with that stalker...
