Anyone dig sigur ros? Their latest album "Takk" was quite beautiful and dreamy. What does everyone think?

I like them, but wasn't a huge fan of Takk...

However, when it comes to the whole "instrumental/post-rock/experimental" genre, there area number of bands I like quite a bit more.

I like them very much. I saw them live at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The language makes it seem as if elves were on stage. A mystical experience.

i love Sigur Ros. Easily in my top five artists of today. I think every album they put out has been genius in it's own way, I don't know if any song gets better than Untitled 8

What I've heard I enjoy, but I haven't really delved into their catalogue.

Friend of mine saw them in St. Louis back in March...he said, unlike most concerts he's been to, the crowd was very quiet and absorbed by the music.
