Has anyone heard any news on Modest Mouse latly are they going back on tour? Any plans for a new album? anything? let me know.

    nothing for certain as far as i know..

    if anyone knows anything i'd like to hear about it too..

    i know they're playing Bonaroo in June.

    they have about 5 west coast dates scheduled for late summer

    they are in the studio working on a new album

    they have collaborated with ex-smith johnny marr for the new album for at least one song.

    the new album has a tentative release late in 06' or early in 07'

    Modest Mouse is not playing at Bonnaroo this year... it doesn't say on the website (bonnaroo website that is).
    If I could, think I would give in.

    i've been waiting soo so soo long for a new modest mouse album/tour, these guys can't put enough out tehre that i won't just absolutely adore

    They are reharsing as we speak. My friend has lunch in the park everyday right by their practice space. From what she says it sounds pretty amazing. They are playing a show here in August.
