It's unbelievable to me how many otherwise good songs during the 80's were ruined by overdone synthesizers. I always thought Journey's Separate Ways had a nice heavy groove to it but those synths make it unlistenable.
That being said, I think Bruce Springstein saved the decade with Born in the USA.I smile, but who am I kidding...0

Pink Floyd sucked in the 80s. After Roger Waters quit... "Momentary.." was an okay record but very bland and "Division Bell" was more of the same with different production.Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..

Yeah, there was some good stuff out there in the 80s, but for the most part it still sucked."Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." ~ MLK, 19630

No doubt-20 years. The definitive album of the 80's for me.
There was a lot of good music in the 80's but there was an enormous amount of bad music as well and many cheesy videos but hey, it was a fun decade when it came to music."Speak your mind even if your voice shakes" ~ M Kuhn0
