this is probably lame...but what the hell
heard an old Casey Casem radio show today, and he said that the shortest song (at that time) to ever hit #1 on billboard charts was about a minute long and called "Stay" by the Four Seasons. Alot of people remember it from the movie Dirty Dancing--love that song. Anyway, thought I'd share a little old trivia w/ y'all.0 -

"Caterpillar March" by Kyuss is an instrumental workout, it's pretty cool.
"Let's Build a Home", "Jumble Jumble" and "Broken Bricks" by The White Stripes are also nice.
But "Slicker Drips" takes the cake as the best song under 2 mins. Also by ws. That song has so much blues energy. I beleive the purpose of music is to express an emotion. If that is true, this is way up there as one of the best songs ever. If you even remotely like the blues, you'd like it.0 -
