Rancid's "indestructible" is a great summer album. Lots of reggae/skaish stuff on it.

Michael Frianti and Spearhead. Very cool hip-hop/reggae vibe with some cool acoustic work in there as well. Spark up a jay and chill out all day long with a little spearhead and you'll fucking love every note.
-tom petty is perfect for summer
-phish's farmhouse is one of my favorite summer albums.

I'm a bigger fan of "...And Out Come the Wolves" but this one had its moments too.
    Which came first,
the bad idea or me befallen by it?

I always found Jane's Addiction a great summer band to listen to, and I find can't really get into them in the cold winter. Whether it's Nothing Shocking or Ritual, or Kettle Whistle, and especially the live Jane's Says or Three Days, those songs just scream SUMMER

Dookie is a pretty good one all year round I think.
  • Fresh Prince!

Also: Travelling Wilburys. And Bon Jovi. And Aerosmith.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.
