    The Weakerthans- Left & Leaving
    U2- Achtung Baby
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

I've seen a few of these before and decided to start my own.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what 5 cd's would you want to have with you?

NO BOOTLEGS ONLY OFFICIAL LIVE CD'S, and no "Best of" albums either. That should make it harder for a lot of you.

Mine at this moment (in no specific order):

    O.K Computer - Radiohead
Blood Sugar Sex Magik - Red Hot Chili Peppers
    Americans Abroad!!! - Against Me!
Live on Two Legs - Pearl Jam

  • This was asked in a different thread, except with a twist. Maybe I can revive this 8 year old thread. The question was, what 5 discs would you want on a desert island. The caveat? No Pearl Jam!

Ritual de lo Habitual - Jane's Addiction
    Unplugged - Nirvana
    Aenima - Tool
Jar of Flies - Alice In Chains

Given David Bowie's passing this week, I just want to say (because I'm a huge Bowie fan and a huge Jeff Buckley fan and this thread is about Desert Island Discs) that David Bowie once said that if he could only take one cd to a desert island, it would be Jeff Buckley's Grace. Me, I'd take Grace but also sneak a phone or iPod with every single Bowie album on it as well. <3<3
