Just got an album the other day. Keep It Like a Secret. I have a couple friends that really like them. The song Sidewalk caught me right away.Happiness is only real when shared0

keep it like a secret, perfect from now on, and you in reverse are flat out classics.
they are mind-blowingly good live too.0 -
The live album is great also.0

I agree with them being insane live... I mean, at one point at our concert, they all had their eyes closed and just looked so incredibly comfortable playing those insane guitar jams... seriously, they were amazing. If I could, think I would give in.0

Built To Spill does indeed jam like a bunch of mofos. Doug M. is a really kind and sweet guy until you get him on the basketball court and then he is a fouling karate master. He even jumped on stage with my band once when we covered RITFW and he jammed out on my Les Paul. Bad Ass! Of course, me and two other guys in my band have been friends with him for a long time so...Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

I met Doug very briefly before a show once. I said hello to him and he asked me where to get a good burger. He did seem very cool. very aproachable.
Haveing Doug come onstage and jam RITFW with you must have been pretty amazing.Charlotte 00 | Charlotte 03 | Asheville 04 | Atlanta 12 | Greenville 16 | Columbia 16 |Seattle 18 | Nashville 22 | Ohana Festival 24 x2 | Atlanta 25 x20 -

It was very cool, especially because we had just started the band and it was like our 5th show or something. Made us seem credible on the Boise scene that Doug would want to jam with us, but it was probably more a case of us being friends from street ball for so many years. Still, very cool...Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer
