all I can think of right now is:

    Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam

Muse - Black Holes and Revelations

we all know pearl jam kicks ass so I wont say anything there...

but that muse album fricken rocks as well...its kind of like a more rocking depeche mode..

  • i haven't bought a lot this year.....other than the Pearl Jam albu, I picked up a Live Seether album, and just bought the new Robert Randolph and the Family Band album "Colorblind"....which I'm really diggin right now.

  • Pearl Jam-Avocado
    Gary Jules-Gary Jules
    Black Keys-Magic Potion
    Wolfmother-Wolfmother
    Sufjan Stevens-the Avalanche
    Silversun Pickups-Carnavas
    Josh Rouse-Subtitulo
    Sam Roberts-Chemical City
    Raconteurs-Broken Boy Soldiers
    Tom Petty-Highway Companion
Ben Harper-Both Sides of the Gun
    Tool-10,000 Days

That's more than I thought, but those are the ones I saw in my CD book. Out of all of them I've gotten the least amount of enjoyment from the new Tool, Ben Harper, Gary Jules, and Wolfmother. Actually, the album I've purchased this year and listened to the most actually came out a year ago: The Woods, Sleater-Kinney.
