in my opinion superunknown and purple shouldnt even be on this top 5 grunge list. id put sixteen stone, throwing copper, and pretty much any AIC, SP, or PJ album ahead of them.
the real greatest grunge list
1. pearl jam - ten
2. nirvana - nevermind
3. alice in chains - dirt
4. temple of the dog (easily chris cornell's greatest work)
5. mad season - above (some great guitar work by mr. mccready)
Cool, interesting list. I wasn't really trying to do a definitive greatest grunge albums list, just trying to rank five really good grunge or grunge-esk albums, IMO. No Superunknown?!!0 -
