speechless here. the article is pretty short so lets give the boysthe benefit of the doubt here. they are probably not responsible, but that is total and utter bullshit they would have the gall to charge people who open for them.
i am enraged. they are bastards IF its is them making the decision.

actually, i remember reading something comparable that dave grohl said when the foo fighters opened for the stones a few years back. something about how they were treated like shit and had to pay for stuff.
I have heard much worse......in the 80s, Public Image Ltd. used to charge bands for the pleasure of opening up for them.
The Stones pay HUGE sums to their openers, so if they have to give a few grand for tickets, the openers still come out WAY ahead!
The stones receive huge guarantees from promoters, so I could see how the promoters need to eek out all the cash they can in order to make a decent profit.
like the band said, the stones probably don't know about it or aren't responsible for it...but it's bullshit either way. As far as i'm concerned any band that charges hundreds of dollars for a non charity show is a disgrace to music.

Haha, am I the only one who thinks that's hilarious? Nice one Mick!
Anyone know who's opening in the UK for them?
