Did you see them the 1st time around. If not your in for a treat. One of the best shows I've been to in a long time.0
-
Just heard a rumor they would be playing Reading and Leeds this year too.0
-
its 99% certain they will do reading/leeds.

I have seen them twice this year, thats why im going back for more. saturnalia is so much better live than on cd.0 -
I agree. I have a couple of boots from this year and I never listen to the album. I hope they play some shows in the States.0
-
I wondered about that after buying the album last weekend....suppose you could direct me to a bootleg for download?PJGARDEN wrote:I agree. Manchester MP3 - I don't have the setlist. Guess I could make one but don't have the time right now. Sound is a little better on the Seattle show but I like this boot better. You can hear Mark a little better on this show. They also did a pretty amazing cover of St. James Infirmary that night with David Rosser on guitar.

David Rosser is an amazing talent that will probably never get the recognition he deserves.Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0 -
Cools, thanks a bunch. Downloading nowPJGARDEN wrote:Manchester MP3 - I don't have the setlist. Guess I could make one but don't have the time right now. I had a ticket to see them in Manchester - done my back in at work a few days earlier and couldn't travel - gutted!

what is '"hunger strike"'??? weird... second dulli/hunger strike connection i've come across this week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTdJTXKVko0&feature=relatedtake a teenage riot to get me outta bed right now...0 -
i hope they play glasgow again... saw them a coupla weeks back and it was great... but weird in that it was the *exact* same band including lanegan as the last 2 times i saw the twilight singers... just a slightly different vibe.
lanegan is playing here again with isobel campbell between that and the london gig... he's really doing so much different stuff and fulfilling his potential.
twilight singers are pretty much my favourite band around at the moment... i mean it almost feels like pj don't exist in my sphere... TS/gutter twins have come to scotland 5 times in the last 4 years and pj have come once in the last 16!
i just watched them on the bbc i player thing doing 'later'... but who is that on *fourth* guitar?take a teenage riot to get me outta bed right now...0 -
the guys are on jools holland tonight
i thought the glasgow gig was all campbell???0 -

I'm not sure if thats been confirmed yet....Marks manager said he wasn't appearing but this may have changed...I don't really see the point of the gig without Lanegan to be honest!!!!
I saw the Gutter Twins in Feb and am definitely gonna be at the August show...absolutely breathtaking0 -

its being advertised as both of them... and i've not heard anything to the contrary. i've not seen any of her shows, but i know eugene kelly has stood in before. he's great, but has a very different voice.
this is a good interview which mentions it:

great interview, thanks for the link. I saw them a couple of times on the first tour and I'm seein them next month too. I think this album is gonna be a killer. Marks definately spoiling us at the moment, I could get used to all this new material and gigs every couple of months
