    what about kazaa? I used to have alot of problems with that but now there is kazaa "lite", supposed to be better.

    dont get limewire, ive got it and it has slowed my mac down SO much.
    Any Java based application will do that.

    I don't think there are any other good file sharing programs for Mac... other than Bittorrent.

    Kazaa lite is about 3 years old


    then there was kazaa lite k++ about 2 years or so ago

    basically if you use anything with the word kazaa attached you deserve whatever spyware crap is bundled along with it.

    Acquisition is a good P2P app for the mac, and doesn't slow it down. Been using it for years. Other than that, any Bit Torrent program will do the trick, once you find a good site with torrents. I use Azureus as my BT app of choice.

    good thing im getting a laptop pc this fall then!

    Get a MacBookPro and load it up with BootCamp, best of both worlds!
