Anyone else really love this Nirvana song?? I can't get enough of it. I was watching the NEVERMIND documentary a few weeks ago and the producer said Kurt recorded that song on a couch almost whispering the lyrics. You guys should watch the documentary if you are a Nirvana fan.

I love this song, one of Kurts best. Its just so haunting how he sings it and the chord progression is also haunting. It creeped me out in a good way the first time I heard it.

This is one of my all time favourite songs. I love listening to it late at night, falling asleep when it ends, and then waking up again when "endless, nameless" kicks in..

Yeah I was on the way back home from my grandmas and I had Nevermind in my portable cd player, I wasnt driving, I fell asleep. When I woke up that song was on, it was so weird to wake up to, but also very nice and very calming, kinda kept me in that sleepy state.

Excellent call Low_Light03!!!! I fuckiN LOVE this song. Easily my fav on Nevermind and one of my favs EVER...period! It's so dark, so eery and soooo beautiful.

As someone else mentioned, that chord progression is just haunting. I always get lost in this song everytime I hear it. Kurt's voice totally stands out too!!! YES! Thank you for mentioning the NEVERMIND documentary! I love that thing! Being behind the sound board and there in the studio reliving the creative process....it totally made me appreciate the songs I already adored in a whole new light ya know? To actually hear about how this one was recorded?? Damn! How amazing was that?

Well I think the man got it DOWN...without a doubt. Fuckin amazing song! Very cool to see an appreciation thread for this hauntingly beautiful work of art.
