no way Bruce Springsteen should be ahead of Tom Waits. thats ridiculous.
It's nice to see Pollard get some respect. I think he should be way higher than 78, though. wow."What’s Orphans? I don’t know. Orphans is a dead end kid driving a coffin with big tires across the Ohio River wearing welding goggles and a wife beater with a lit firecracker in his ear." - Tom Waits0 -
Nick Cave should be higher and where is PJ Harvey?0

Bruce cockburn is the shit, highly underrated usually0

Greg Dulli?
We have Afghan Whigs fans here?
"Debonair" is one of the greatest songs ever.
Also, U2 should be MUCH higer on the list (top 5). Say what you will about them, they can writeI love my female wife...
we sit around and wonder exactly why our marriage should feel threatened by gay marriage0 -

bitch all you will I think the top ten is decent"I'm not suicidal, except when I drink. That's why we don't all drink at the same time, there'd be no-one alive to drive home..."

No, no one else thinks that. Obviously not a great singer, but the fact that he is unquestioned as the greatest lyricist of all time by everyone who has ever done anything in the music business has to tell you something. And where the hell is Bob Marley?
He's dead. The list is living songwriters. I'm just curious how two seperate people clicked on this post, considering the title, and then questioned why John Lennon and Bob Marley aren't on the list.0
