Nice blog, dude. I'm doing my best as well (it's in Japanese) trying to spread good indie/overlooked music.

I've listened to them a bit, alot of their appeal is in their really colourful stage show/image, but I don't really like them as much as L'arc En Ciel (who have a phenomenal bass player). J-rock really isn't my thing, but I do like a lot of music from Japan. Malice Mizer is on the harder end of the Japanesse rock spectrum, if I remember correctly.

Thank God for these artists. Really, just awesome bands. :)

Malice Mizer is dead now, and along with L'Arc en ciel they are basically just hair metal bands with a lot of technique. They spray their hair, put a lot of gothic make-up on, sing about killing babies and loving it, cry about how they can't do that all the time, and really just that kinda stuff. I guess they do have talent though, I just wish they put it to better use. I'm sorry to say this, but I hate J-rock. I just do.

But the above mentioned three artists, now that's different. They really have some great stuff out there.

And don't forget Acid Mother's Temple. Awesome jams.
