Lallapalooza Anyone?

Anyone going??? I'm thinking about it just because my friend's are going and it's a huge festival that should be alot of fun to party at. I don't really know any of the bands except for Blues Traveler and RHCP, I also heard that Perry Farrell is performing solo don't know if that's true or not. Any of the other bands there worth while?

    i heard that Wolfmother is playing at that? if they are you should most definatley go.

    Is lollapalooza touring, or is it just one date?

    I went to it 2-3 years ago in mansfield, mass. and I thought it was a complete joke. I enjoyed the bands, audioslave, janes addiction etc. But its an all day thing and the venues dont let you bring any food in, nor will they let you leave and come back.
    So you have to buy food, beer and water from the vendors at insane mark-ups.
    But aside from the vendors raping my wallet, i had fun

    It's just one location this year, Chicago IL, I believe. Aug. 6-7, but I could be wrong on the dates. I'd like to go, but am unable to get off of work. :(
