I expected to like the album, but it didn't happen for me. I find the songs boring and the voice annoys me.
Does his voice remind you of some other singer? I can't quite place it, but he sounds soooo familiar.
Glad someone's enjoying it though. I just wish I hadn't wasted my emusic downloads on something I can't get into.:)0 -
About all I can say for it is it's nice...
It's alright but I know I won't be still listening in a couple of months time. The folk/Singer-songwriter field is difficult to find a unique identity in, and even harder to establish elongevity. I think Bon Iver's a victim of the genre rather than due to his own inadequacies. I'm sure it'll be great once he gets more albums under his belt but there's only so much of 1 album I can take.Paul
