nicely spotted for Far Behind, hadnt noticed that one

hadn't thought of that, you have to admit the lead guitar sounds like the lead bass from Trick of the Light.

You just posted the same song twice...

That said, I think you were going for a Blues Brothers 'Everybody Needs Somebody' comparison.

Just heard "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock, for the first time.

Sounds just like "Werewolves of London."

    I know there's someone here who loves Kid Rock :p but, c'mon, it's a blatant rip-off!

chorus of "pearl jam - sad" always reminded me of "the cure - love song"

    edit:
verses of Alice in Chains - Hate to Feel and led zeppelin - dazed and confused
chorus of alter bridge - down to my last and collective soul - world i know
intro deftones - be quiet and drive and chevelle - send the pain below

Bob dylan- "you're gonna make me lonesome, when you go" and "Shelter from the storm sound almost identical, if they already don't. Not sure if this counts because Dylan wrote both tracks, but the sound the exact same with dofferent lyrics.

ZZ top- "Tush" and Tom Petty's " Saving grace" sound similar riff wise.

I'm pretty sure zz top ripped off that riff too though, I forget which artist though.
