Here's my advice about Petty concerts...

Seeing him once, you'll have a good time if you enjoy his music. Two times... not so much. His set lists are often identical or nearly so night after night and even his stage banter can be identical from one show to the next. Seeing him a second night greatly took away from the first concert experience I had from a Tom Petty performance.

    Hope that helps out.

Saw him in Boston this year and had a great time. Fell in love with one song I'd never heard before, Honey Bee. Really awesome.

Saw him with Steve Winwood in Alpharetta (Atlanta) and I have to say that the show ties Pearl Jam for my favorite concert ever.

Steve Winwood still sounds AMAZING... and watch his guitar playing on "Dear Mr. Fantasy"!

Tom was really energetic and playful with the crowd, and his voice sounds great... just a wonderful concert.

Went to the show in San Antonio yesterday, great show, Steve Winwood did not come out and play with him at the show, he doesn't do it at every show. I've always said that Steve Winwood is one of the most under rated guitar players in rock and man he was great last night, what's funny is so many people don't even know that he plays guitar.
