Hello helpful Philly Pit Members
Im driving from NY, so once I park my car i pretty much dont want to move it .( GA$ )
This is where I am tentatively staying- is this too far ? The people at the Hotel didnt seem to have a clue. They didnt even know of a venue on the waterfront in camden ( Sasaquana Centr ) ? ?
Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Main Line
City Line
4100 Presidential Boulevard
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19131
215-477-0200
do they have a shuttle or a train- i remember those lines outside after the shows waiting to get on the boat- they were ridiculous .
any help is appreciated .
only 2 weeks away kids !

that hotel is not in Center City. it is several miles away and unless the hotel provides a shuttle it is likely too far away. you would need to either drive directly to site in Camden or drive to Center City then take River boat.
hope that helpsSometimes life, it don't leave you alone0 -
You're about a 20-25 minute car ride from the venue without traffic. Probably close to 45 minutes during rush hour. You're right on the border of Philly and the burbs. Unfortunately, I don't spend much time out there so I don't know about trains.- Busted down the pretext

that's pretty far."I'm not present, I'm a drug that makes you dream"0

There is not a bus from that point. You could drive into the city and then get a cab or some other transportation, but driving to Camden is probably your best bet, sorry to say. The hotel is in a bad location for these shows. You will be competing with Shore traffic on Friday on 676 and 76-OUCH! STAY AWAY! I would check for hotels around the airport. It is probably just as close as the place you are at now...like 2-3 miles tops.0

There are like 15 hotels around Philly International Airport. Howard Johnson is probably cheap and its right off 95, VERY close to the Susquehanna Ctr. I have stayed at the Sheraton and it was nice and check out was at noon there0
-
your hotel is not near Camden! :( Bathgate, your near St. Joes and not to far from Villanova. I use to work out there and I took the R5(train). If your really not down to drive, you may have to take a few trains. I'll look into for yabeing so KiND.. tO LEt me RiDe!!!0

There's a Crowne Plaza in city center - is that all booked? I bet you could get a train over from that area (does Septa or patco go to Susquehanna anyone?)R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

I don't know if The Comfort Inn is all booked, but its at Penn's Landing; we've stayed there in Philly. We've even walked to The Electric Factory from there. You can walk from it to the ferry area.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

Oh that sucks! Why not look into driving to the nearest train and park there.
Here's a map of their trains - maybe it will help.

As long as you go to the venue midafternoon, you shouldn't have any traffic problems. Just make sure you follow the crowd to the Ben Franklin Bridge after the show. You don't want to get lost in Camden if you're not from the area.- Busted down the pretext

Where the hell is the exit for the bridge? Every time I leave that place, I can't find the bridge. You exit the parking lot, turn right, and the bridge should be right there on your left, but it's never there. I always end up going the opposite way on 76 or whatever it is, and doing a u-turn.0 -
